Bangkok Central World, A Luxury Shopping Center Is On Rachadamri Rd.Neighborhood XI - Rachadamri Rd. & Rama I Rd. Rachadamri Rd. & Bangkok Central World
We are at the corner of Rachadamri Rd. and Rama I, proceeding eastward on Rachadamri, we have Gaysorn Plaza ( like Town Center Mall, Boca Raton, Florida) at the corner.
Then there’s a nice condo complex and few hotels down the road and few department stores.
Across the street, north side of Rachadamri Rd., you have Central World (like Macy plus a mall). This area is filled with departments stores (luxury and Walmart style), local shops, and street vendors (moving east on Rachadamri Rd. on the north side).
It’s a very nice area, a mix of mostly retail business and pockets of nice condos.
You can shop all day around here; there are plenty of restaurants of various types and prices to suit your taste. Rachadamri Rd. & Rama I (West Side) 
At the corner of Rama I and Rachadamri Rd. on the west side, you have the Policeman Hospital, the National Police Headqauter, and other police department related offices. They occupy pretty much this portion of Rama I Rd.
Opposite the Policeman Hospital, you have Central World (a well known department store), and it occupies a good portion of the corner.
As we proceed north on Rama I from Central World, you have a Bhuddhist Temple and Siam Paragon (like Lord’s & Taylor plus) Department Store. This area is also very nice; you have mostly department stores and the police department (they were here for the longest time).
