There are quite a few places, both indoor and outdoor for family enjoyment and relaxation.

For indoor, I suggest Siam Paragon Shopping Mall (Neighborhood XI), Central Department Store Chidlom Branch (Neighborhood I), Central World Shopping Mall (Neighborhood XI) and The Emporium Shopping Mall (Neighborhood V).

You can find lots of classy and popular electronic products there.

For outdoor, I suggest Bangkok Park Lumpini So you can get some light morning air and the whole family can have fun doing some leisure stroll, or even join in with the aerobic crowd.

Next, take a look at a new park, Bangkok Park Sapan Taksin , to be opened soon.

For you who are staying right around Sukhumvit 24 (Neighborhood V), you have Bangkok Queen's Park 

Next, you may want to check out a suburban park and a flea market at the Bangkok Park Chatuchak . Then checkout Bangkok Art and Design Library at the Emporium.
