Chao Phraya River Is Right By Neighborhood Ten Where You Have Quite A Number Of Boutique Furniture And Sculpture Shops

Neighborhood X.2 is right next to Chao Phraya River.

Overall, Chao Phraya River neighborhood rates 3.0 stars.

Surasak Road is a four lanes of one way traffic moving south; you have mostly office buildings and a large jewelry trade center, Silom Gallery.

Silom 19 has a Starbucks and a high-class looking shopping arcade; no apartments or condos. Silom 30 has a Central Department Store. Thanon Mahasak has more jewelry and antique shops.

Soi Pramot 3 has one big restaurant.

Soi Mahasak 1 (Off of Mahasak Rd.(West)) has Asia Gems Trade Center; no condos. Soi Mahasak 2 has a gem Plaza on the corner.

Soi Mahasak 3 (Off of Mahasak Rd.(West))has a semi-precious stone shop on the corner. N. Silom Rd. (At the corner of Surasak Rd.) has a nice hotel on the opposite corner. Silom 23 is an alley of a shopping arcade, as is Silom 21 .

At Sapan Taksin Skytrain Station you have a Chao Phraya River pier, a close by hotel and a river front condo. Charoenkrung 50 is filled with jewelry and other shops. Charoenkrung 46 is an old Soi with lots of old shops; no condos.

Charoenkrung 44 is another old Soi with more of old shops. Charoenkrung 42 1/2 is an access road to a hotel by the river. Charoenkrung 42 has lots of local shops and no apartments.

Neighborhood X.1

It rates 3.0 stars.

At Nara Thiwas Rajanagarindra Rd. (West Corner N. Sathon) ,you have a nice looking condo complex under construction.

On Silom Rd. (At a west corner of Nara Thiwas Rajanagarindra Rd.) there is a Thai Airways Ticketing Office and its famous Puff Pastries Shop. Soi Silom 9 has a cemetery on both sides of the entrance. Decho Rd. has few antique shops.

Soi Silom 12 has a big hotel, a woman's fashion shop and no condos. Soi Sathon 10 is lined up with tall trees on both sides; you have few nice condos here. Soi Sathon 12 has quite a few nice office buildings, a few nice homes and townhouses, and a very nice condo.

Soi Sathon 11 has lots of shady trees on both sides; there's a nice condo complex.

Soi Sathon 9 has a UOB office on the right and a hospital on the left. South Sathon Rd. (Corner of Nara Thiwas Rajanagarindra Rd.) has a few office buildings and a decent looking condo. Soi Sathon 13 (Off of S. Sathon Rd.) has few condos and an OK apartment. On S. Sathon Rd. you have St. Louis Hospital and St. Louis School.

There is nothing of note on Soi Sathon 15.

On North Sathon Road near the Surasak Skytrain station, you have a few nice condos. Thanon Pramuan has special significance for me, as it where I attended grade school. Thanon Si Wiang ( Si Wiang Rd. off of Pramuan Rd.) is a nice road; there are few condos and plenty of tall trees.

Thanon Pan (Off of N. Sathon Rd.) has the Myanmar Embassy on the right of the entrance,and a few nice condos further down. Sathon 14 has a residential look. There is a condo here.
