Convent Road Has A Nice Boutique Hotel And An ApartmentNeighborhood IX.1 - Convent Rd., Soi Pipat 2 Convent Road (Off of Silom Rd.) 
Convent Road has an electronics gadget store at the left corner and on the right, you have a big office building. Walking down the road you have a Japanese restaurant, a Starbuck, a Thai restaurant, an Irish pub, and a French restaurant. Right in front of these restaurants, you have tons of street vendors which make walking cumbersome but passable. Further down the road you have lots of local shops; travel agency, office equiptments, noodle restaurants, flower shops, beauty salons, FamilyMart, dental clinic. You also have a nice boutique hotel and an apartment. 
Next, there is a Catholic School, St. Joseph Convent; where it bears the name of this street. This is a historical site (Brief history). It’s a school for a well to do indeed.
On the opposite side, there’s Carmelite Monastery Bangkok, another historical site. On any early Sunday morning, you can hear bell ringing and services from the main building. 
There is a nice international hospital, BNH Hospital near the end of this road; it was established over 100 years ago by the British Embassy and Mr. George Greville, Consul General. The hospital is considered to be the first private hospital in Thailand. Finally, you have Christ Church... 
A very narrow Soi extends always from Contvent Rd.to Nara Tiwaj Rajanagarindra Rd. (Nonsi Rd.) where you have a Skytrain station. Near Convent Rd. you have few local shops; a noodle restaurant on the corner, a beauty salon and others. As you walk down further you will cross Soi Silom 3, there, you have few homes, and then you start to have executive apartments, condos, and a hotel. However, the side walk suddenly disappears, and walking gets very uncomfortable when there are traffics, and traffics seem to be regular. I think it is too uncomfortable to walk through here. You can do better.
