Neighborhood IX.1 - Start with Silom Road South Overall, this neighborhood deserves a 3.5 stars with Sections of Saladaeng Rd., a definite 4.0. Silom Road South near Rama IV Rd. is also an active shopping area.
Silom Road (Main)
is one of the premier roads in a premier business district. You have fine hotels, Robinson department store, Central department store.
Rama IV (Corner of Silom to Corner of Sathon Rd.)
is also part of the business district.
Saladang Rd.
has quite a few luxury condominiums.
Soi Yomarach
has a nice condo on the left side of the entrance.
Soi Saladaeng 1/1
has quite a few very nice condos and a few private homes. There are more nice condos on
Soi Saladaeng 1
and
Soi Saladaeng 2
has more nice luxury condos. Soi Saladaeng 1 also has a boutique coffee shop.
Convent Road
has an electronics gadget store, a big office building, tons of restaurants, a nice boutique hotel and an apartment, and a well known Catholic school.
Soi Pipat 2
has regular traffic, with few homes, executive apartments, condos, and a hotel.
Soi Silom 3
has Bangkok Bank Headquarter at the entrance, a Chinese Restaurant,and more office buildings.
Soi Silom 5
is known colloquially as “Money Vaporizer Soi”. One can spendquite a bit here at this unique flee market.
Nara Thiwas Rajanagarindra Rd.
has Standard Chartered Bank at the corner of Sathon plus other office buildings.
Soi Sin Chula Saweg
is a narrow Soi connecting to
Soi Silom 5
's unique flee market. There's an old condo there.
Soi Sathon 8
has an apartment and few local restaurants.
Soi Sathon 6
has plenty of high rise office buildings; Citi Bank, few nice condos, an executive apartment, townhouses, and private homes.

are filled with tons of bars and nightclubs.
