The Street is too busy with constant traffics. One hundred meters into the Soi, you have whole side streets (Soi Cowboy) filled with many open bars. Plenty of street vendors on the sidewalks. There are a few condos and apartments in this Soi but think you can do better with other nearby Soi. 
It’s a very short Soi, only 50 meters deep with a cute Hostel. It’s quiet. However, I see no apartments or condos here but the Hostel looks fine. It’s a nice and quiet Soi. The street is narrow and no sidewalk, but passable. 
On the corner a new hotel, Crown Plaza Sukhumvit is under construction till 2008. There are nice condos here; it has a residential look. 
It’s a narrow quiet Soi. However, there is a Technological Promotion Association (Thai-Japan) here in the middle of the Soi causing mild traffics but passable. About 200 meters down the Soi, you start to have a nice condo. Don’t go beyond the right bend; it gets too narrow.Return to Bangkok Sukhumvit 16 Sukhumvit Soi 23
