Sukhumvit Soi 28

This Soi is pretty private. It’s quite, serene, and lots of green. Few local shops near the entrance. You have mostly large old private homes on a big lot here. There are two nice condos at he end of the Soi; it’s only 100 meters deep.

Sukhumvit Soi 30

It has a few shops at the entrance with adequate sidewalk. The Soi is quiet enough with two high rise condos at the end of the Soi. The Soi make-up is mostly small businesses with few residential condos. No complaint; you can walk to Prompong BTS SkyTrain station.

Sukhumvit Soi 30/1

This is a very short Soi occupied by Waterford Diamond Tower Condo Complex. It’s ok; it takes about seven minute to walk to Prompong BTS SkyTrain Station.

Sukhumvit Soi 32

This is a tiny Soi with no condos; it has a spa called The Baan Thai Wellness Retreat.

Sukhumvit Soi 34

The Soi is quiet and reasonably clean with few street vendors at the entrance. Once you go around the right bend after the first 100 meter, you start to see lots of private homes, few small businesses, a Montessori International Pre-school, and few condos. It’s a nice residential soi.

Sukhumvit Soi 36

You have a Shell Gas Station at the entrance. On the opposite side, there is a new construction site for a condo complex right on the corner; it should finish by 2009. This would be perfect then, because you walk two minutes to the Thonglor SkyTrain BTS Station.

However, this Soi is a shortcut connecting Rama IV and main Sukhumvit Rd, thus causing constant traffic flow. It’s very difficult for me just to walk into the Soi; I gave up after 100 meters. The Soi is too narrow to walk with constant flow of traffic in both directions.
