Sukhumvit Soi 59's Entrance Looks Like Some Rundown Warehouse Sections But Gets Better Further InNeighborhood VI - Bangkok Sukhumvit-soi-59,61,63,55 Sukhumvit Soi 59
This Soi is wide, about 3 lanes wide. On the right you have a big Caltex gas station and on the left you have an automobile dealer. Beyond the gas station you have a large automobile service garage.So, the first 150 meters looks like some warehouse sections (check the web) on the west side of lower Manhattan.
After that, things get better, you have a large Korean restaurant on the right, a large condo under construction and few more finished condo.So, it’s torelable near the end of the Soi before you make the first right turn (chk distance), if you don’t mind walking pass the “warehouse like” section. Can use few more tall trees. This Soi is close to Thonglor SkyTrain BTS Station. As a bonus, there’s a nice condo right on the main Sukuhmvit Rd., not too far from the entrance. Sukhumvit Soi 61
This Soi is a gem. It’s clean and quiet with lots of well groom private homes, town houses, and a few condos.There are houses for rent here as well. The atmosphere is quite residential.
You have a cinema theatre complex complete with McDonald, KFC and Sizzler right at the right of the entrance; some local shops are on the left. eyond that, is a pleasant walk into the Soi. There’s even a nice bookstore here.
This Soi is similar to Sukhumvit Soi 55 except it has 4 lanes and two ways. The Soi itself has its own side streets where you can find condos. This Soi is a bit less hectic than Sukhumvit Soi 55, and have few large plots (over 1600 sq. meters) private homes.
There are large office buildings, gas stations, Japanese restaurants, ons of local shops of various sizes. You even have a Big C Department Store, one of the biggest in Bangkok.Also, opposite the entrance of the Soi you have a City Bus Depot; Eastern routes. Check out condos in the side streets. The nearest SkyTrain Station is Ekamai.
