Near the entrance, a new condo complex is coming up and should be ready by 2009 or beyond. This is a four lanes business Soi; there tons of jewelry stores on both sides of the Soi, some bakeries, pharmacies, a Pizza hut, and an old style movie theater (a functional relics).On the main Sukhumvit Rd., there are lots of older local shops like appliances, construction supply and others. I did not see anything I like. The nearest SkyTrain is Prakanong station. Sukhumvit Soi 73
Walk carefully on the main Sukhumvit Rd. sidewalk. There are two large Thai secondary schools in this rather short Soi with many local shops; a noodle restaurant, a plastic surgery clinic, a grocery, and an office supply.Skip it. Aonnuch is the nearest SkyTrain station. Sukhumvit Soi 75

An icecream maker equipment store is near the entrance. Then we have a surprise, a nice executive apartment is neatly tucked away 30 meters from the clean entrance. There some more local shops here; a small bread vendor and a local grocery store. Beyond that you have the Aonnuch Fresh Market carfeteria (not too bad if you want to be adventurous). Aonnuch SkyTrain Station is the closest. 
It’s a tolerable oasis. Return to Bangkok Sukhumvit 40 Sukhumvit Soi 69_1 (69/1)
