Surawong Road Is Perhaps As Old As Bangkok

This road is perhaps as old as Bangkok. What it’s noted for is there are some nice antique shops, quite a few banks including the Bank of Thailand, insurance companies, Italian restaurants, Chinese restaurants, Indian restaurants, Japanese restaurants, and few hotels.

There are also tons of local shops; a dry-clean laundry service place, a coffee and bakery shop. I have not seen decent condos or apartments; given the fact that this is considered a business road.

Soi Suksan (Off of Surawong Rd.)

No condos or apartments.

Sap Road (Off of Surawong Rd.)

There‘s a nice antique shop at the corner, and walking down this road you have few more office buildings, some homes, and the Russian Embassy. I don’t see anything I like here.
